Natural Park of Gorbea

Gorbea Natural Park is the largest Basque natural park with more than 20,000 hectares, and is situated half an hour from both Bilbao and Vitoria between the provinces of Bizkaia and Alava.

It takes its name from its highest peak, "Gorbea," which is almost 1500 meters high and several rivers flow along the park into the Mediterranean and Cantabrian basins. It acquires beautiful colors in the autumn because of its beech and oak forests. Get ready to visit the park on one of its perfectly marked walking trails.

The Gorbea Park is a place to visit: the forest of Otzarreta, Gujuli waterfalls, the Cruz of Gorbea on the top of the mountain, and Itxina Karst, where many mythological characters like "basajaun" came into being and were made famous through the Spanish book series "La Trilogía del Baztán."

Natural Park of Montseny

Just an hour and a half from Barcelona city you will find the beautiful Natural Park of Montseny called UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

The park is full of holm oaks, cork oaks and common oaks whose leaves transform into shades of ocre and wooden tapestries in the autumn, painting the floor a spectacular chromatic range.

Sites to visit in the Parco Natural de Montseny: the Turó de l'Home, the forest of beech and the reservoir of Santa Fe, collect mushrooms to enjoy the sunsets.

Mountains of Cazorla, Segura and the Natural Park Villas.

Located in the province of Jaén, this park, with more than 214,000 hectares, is the largest protected area in Spain and the second largest in Europe. Its altitude varies between 500 and 2100 meters above sea level, making it ideal for expert walkers. It is considered to be the natural border between the Levant, the Plateau and the Andalusian region due to its location.

It is a park full of natural life and landscape and microclimate concentration. The animal activity of the park is awakened by the disappearance of summer visitors and its highest expression is in its impressive underbelly.

Visit places in the Natural Parks Sierras de Cazorla, Segura and Las Villas: visit the "Collado del Almendral" Hunting Park, the Torre del Vinagre Interpretations Center, the rest of the Collado del Guijarral's cave painters or try to collect mushrooms and red pine mushrooms.

Natural Park of Laguna Negra and Urbión Glacial Cirques

The majority of the park's surface in Soria is over 1,700 meters high. The Urbión Peak stands out at a height of over 2,200 metres, honoring it as the birthplace of the Duero River.

If photography and walking are your thing, the autumn months are the best months to walk between pines and beeches. Furthermore, you have the Black Lagoon and one of the most beautiful spots in the area.

The darkness of the waters and mysterious mountain scenery have fascinated man since ancient times, as reflected by Antonio Machado, for instance, in his romantic poem "La Tierra de Alvargonzález."
